ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Junior/Associate QA, you’ll be responsible for writing and executing manual test scripts for changes to our Cerberus or DarkIQ software and test reporting, while working alongside your colleagues across the Engineering platform in an Agile Sprint format. You will be adhering to testing best practices throughout the development life cycle, always putting quality first and learning about the relationships with stakeholders outside of QA, to align goals across the business regarding software delivery, and about documenting complex features. You will also partake in Pre-release and post-release test completion, as well as coordinating with mid-level QA if any bugs are raised and working towards building Searchlight product knowledge.

Please note this position is 12 months FTC.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Understanding of the difference between Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of API testing and tools used for this.
  • Knowledge of basic database testing and queries.
  • Knowledge of testing terminologies and when to utilize them.
  • Able to create bugs using bug template process.
